Portraits - a few random people pictures from Art Deco Weekend, Napier NZ - February 2015.

I enjoy taking photographs of most things - architecture, scenery, travel, transport, sport, flora and fauna - but it's people that I find to be the most fascinating subject matter.
Here are a few portraits or people photos snapped during Art Deco Weekend festivities - February 2015 - Napier, New Zealand.
It was good to see people of all age groups and cultures taking part. I particularly like the ones who's eye I managed to catch with the camera....and gave a nice smile.
Sailor uniforms were popular as were parasols, school uniforms and of course hats....if you want to get ahead....get a hat.

This little girl and her brother in the front of the car caught my eye. And the second shot I got framing mainly the girl in the front window of the car with her chin on her hand was my favourite shot of the day, despite the reflection on the windscreen.

I had to include a shot of Bertie. An Icon of the Art Deco spirit of Napier.
